Kaye Broens, Real Estate Agent

 Kaye Broens, 2019 VIREB President, launched her career in real estate in 2007, when she began working as an assistant with Taddy Owen-Flood Ltd. in Victoria. In 2008, she took her aptitude and passion for the real estate profession with her to DTZ Barnicke, working as an unlicensed assistant until obtaining her real estate license from Sauder School of Business in early 2010. In September of that year, Kaye became a licensed REALTOR® with RE/MAX of Nanaimo. In January 2019, Kaye joined industry disruptor and virtual brokerage EXP Realty. She has served several terms as one of two VIREB directors for the Nanaimo area and was chair of VIREB’s MLS® and Technology Committee in 2015. In 2018, Kaye began her position as the Chair of the VIREB Government Relations Committee actively lobbying all levels of government on behalf of organized real estate. In addition to her VIREB membership, Kaye is a member of the British Columbia Real Estate Association, the Canadian Real Estate Association, and the National Association of REALTORS®, the trade association representing real estate agents in the United States.
